Where Are They Now - Aurora Brown
When Aurora left QE last year, she had no fixed roadmap—just a passion for people, creativity, and making a difference. Fast forward twelve months and her journey has taken her to the vibrant heart of the Caribbean!
Based in Aruba, Aurora has spent the past year delivering creative workshops, cooking sessions, and sports programmes within the national prison system. She’s supported young people transitioning back into society after release, empowering them with skills, confidence, and community. Her leadership skills have flourished as she’s taken charge of international volunteer projects, working alongside diverse teams and representing her organisation on a global stage.
Oh—and did we mention she’s also a carnival host? Yes, really! Aurora has embraced the colour, rhythm, and joy of Caribbean culture, sharing it with tourists from around the world and bringing serious sparkle wherever she goes. ๐๐๏ธโ๏ธ
Now, she’s setting off on her next adventure: a degree in Caribbean Tourist Management at the University of the West Indies. She’ll begin her studies in Kingston, Jamaica, with an exciting third-year placement in either Trinidad & Tobago or Barbados.
We couldn’t be prouder of all she’s achieved already—and all that’s still to come. Keep flying high, Aurora!
We’re always excited to welcome new families to Queen Ethelburga's! If you’re interested in joining, come meet us at our next Open Day or book a private tour. Fill out the contact form to learn more.
