Our language programme is ideal if you want to gain fluency, cultural awareness, and academic qualifications.

Beyond the Classroom – Enrichment for Language Students

Challenge yourself outside lessons through our after-school Linguistics Club, where students explore the diversity of global languages by solving word puzzles, decoding linguistic patterns, and engaging in team challenges.

You can even take part in national competitions! In the past, our students have won awards in the University of Newcastle’s European Day of Languages competition and the University of Oxford’s German Olympiad. Through our Stretch and Challenge programme, you’ll also have the opportunity to write an original poem, either in your mother tongue or a second language, for entry into the Manchester Metropolitan University’s Mother Tongue Other Tongue competition.
