Communication With Parents

Parent Communication at King’s Magna

Be a part of your child’s educational journey through school.

At King’s Magna, you are regularly updated about your child’s progress and have many opportunities to visit Queen Ethelburga’s to meet with other parents and be part of the school community.

Be Invested In Your Child’s Education

Every half-term, you will be updated on your child’s academic development through progress reports or parents' meetings.

In addition, Heads of Year, Pastoral and Form Tutors will be in regular contact to inform you of celebration awards, or if there are concerns that might need additional support. Similarly, our teaching staff are always available to discuss matters over email or by phone.

If your child is a day student, Form Tutors and class teachers will communicate with you through your child’s planner. To help with this, you will be asked to read and sign their planner every week.

Begin and End the School Year At QE

Boarding parents are invited to the Induction BBQ before the start of term to say goodbye and meet key academic staff. It’s a joyful day full of music, fun activities and delicious food.

Similarly, at the end of the year, Chapter House and King’s Magna host a Speech Day to celebrate all students' achievements and wish good luck to students in Years 5 and 9.
