Take the first step towards applying for subjects related to business or science at university by completing the International Foundation Year at Queen Ethelburga's. The one-year course will develop your subject knowledge and skills, as well as improve your English Language.
The IFY is accredited by NCUK, a consortium of leading universities dedicated to giving international students entry to universities worldwide. The qualification is comparable to receiving A Level, AP (US), and HKDSE (Hong Kong) qualifications and is formally recognised by the top universities across the UK.

| What are the course fees? |

You will pay the equivalent of the Year 13 international fees. |
| What are the accommodation arrangements? |
|
You will be accommodated in the Year 13 boarding houses, sharin an en-suite room, usually with two other students. |
| What are the Visa arrangements? |
|
You must be aged 17 or 18 years at the start of the academic year. Students aged 17 will be able to apply for a child student visa. Students who are 18 years old on 1st September at the start of their course will require a student visa. |
