Trips

Trips at Chapter House

Children are introduced to trips in Key Stage One and go on exciting adventures exploring castles, painting pottery and caring for animals.

In Key Stage Two, there is even more to explore, like getting to know the Vikings at Jorvik, pretending to be a Tudor, tasting and making chocolate lollies, a trip to the theatre and meeting even more animals!

Chapter House pupils display the pottery they have painted.

A learning experience that goes beyond the classroom.

Exciting Trips For Pupils in KS1 & KS2

In Year 5, children go on a three-day residential trip to High Adventure with exciting and challenging activities to try such as canoeing, climbing and abseiling, archery, and a very popular maze.

See what our students’ say:

"At High Adventure, we faced our fears and had an amazing time. My favourite activity was the ‘Leap of Faith’ because when I did it, I felt really great!" SW

"My advice is to try all the activities on offer or else you might regret it." HMB

"Before we went, I was not sure whether High Adventure was for me, but I am glad that I went as it was amazing." SS
