Learn English in a fun and engaging way at our UK international summer school. Students have classroom lessons and practise English during other activities, combining learning and fun.
The Junior and Senior International Summer School runs from 30th June to 21st July 2026. All students have a minimum of 10 hours of English lessons per week, giving them the chance to make fast progress in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
The curriculum follows a version of the internationally recognised IELTS syllabus and is taught by experienced English tutors using creative and interactive teaching methods.

Students are placed in ability groups after a short test on arrival. Each group builds core English skills through a mix of activities, including:

Juniors (Ages 7 to 12)
After morning English lessons, juniors enjoy an action-packed afternoon and evening of sports, games, and other activities.
Our programme encourages students to practise English while being active. They can improve skills in sports they enjoy and try new activities in a supportive, fun environment. Team challenges and themed days are a highlight of the Junior Summer School experience!
Student achievements are celebrated weekly with events such as discos and pool parties, and at the end of each fortnight, QE hosts an Awards Ceremony to recognise both academic excellence and boarding house contributions.
Seniors (Ages 13 to 17)
Senior students can customise their week by choosing from four exciting pathways. Each pathway allows students to explore new subjects or develop existing skills, while improving English and having fun. Students can switch pathways each week if they wish.
