Key Stage 5 Girls Boarding

Welcome to KS5 Girls Boarding

Moving into the sixth form is an exciting new phase of life, where new and existing girls make a fresh start together on their journey towards adulthood and university life.

Court Apartments is a modern, purpose-built block, with specific spaces dedicated to all areas of school life, from study rooms to social spaces like the Atrium and mezzanines where the girls can spend their free time. We recognise that girls of this age are moving towards greater independence. We aim to create an environment which comprises both the feel of a family home and the independence of a university hall of residence, where girls can begin to manage their lives in a safe and nurturing environment.

Girls are accommodated in comfortable rooms with a private toilet and shower room, study areas, safes and generous wardrobe and storage spaces, the rooms also include a multitude of modern appliances: microwave, washing machine, fridge, trouser press, dishwasher, iron, digital TV, Play Station, among others.  Court Apartments also offer common rooms with dedicated laundry, kitchen and dining areas, which enable them to develop life skills needed for university.

There are staff members available for the students 24/7 and a mentoring system which promotes welfare and adaptation together with in-house activities during the evenings and weekends.
