At QE we are immensely proud of our UK and International Residential Trips provision.

Each year a new programme of visits takes our students around the UK and beyond; students can immerse themselves in the history and culture of cities such as Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Rome, New York and Washington DC, or undertake valuable elephant conservation work in Asia and life-changing school-based community projects in Zambia.

We have taken our first trip down under, sightseeing in Sydney and horseback riding at an authentic working cattle ranch. Our annual scuba diving and ski trip give students the chance to master skills and gain qualifications.

We also offer adventures such as hiking in the Grand Canyon or, for those with a technological interest, an exciting Mission to Mars STEM project at the NASA Johnson Space Centre in Texas!

The programme of UK and International residential visits provides valuable personal development opportunities for our students. They enable them to build stronger friendships, develop co-operation, team work, confidence and leadership as they travel, work and live together, as well as gaining life skills for independent travel.
