There are no entry requirements for Queen Ethelburga's. We are a non-selective independent school and welcome students from 3 months to 18 years.

Overview Of Queen Ethelburga's Four Schools
| Explorers Nursery (3 Months to Age 3) |

Children can join Explorers Nursery at any point in the year. The Nursery is within Chapter House School. Babies and toddlers progress through 3 rooms based on age. At the age of 3, children will move into Chapter House's Foundation Stage provision. |
| Chapter House (Age 3 to Year 5) |
|
Children join Chapter House at the age of 3 as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage provision. From Reception, we expect your child to join Chapter House at the beginning of the academic year. The option to board is available from Year 3. In Year 5, teachers prepare students to transition into King’s Magna. |
| King’s Magna (Year 6 to Year 9) |

Students attend King's Magna when they reach Year 6. We accept applications for all year groups. Once registered, we expect your child to start at the beginning of the academic year. In Year 9, key academic staff prepare students to transition into the College. |
| QE College (Year 10 to Year 13) |
|
Students may join the College at the beginning of Year 10, Year 11, or Year 12. You have the choice between studying GCSE, BTEC and A Level courses. Although some courses have entry requirements. |
