Easter Football Camp
Our Three‑Day Easter Football Camp is designed to provide young players with a comprehensive and enriching football experience that reflects the daily standards of a professional training environment. Across the three days, players will take part in a carefully structured programme that focuses on high‑quality technical and tactical development, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to improve key aspects of their game. Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches in a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning, enjoyment, and confidence.
Technical Skills
The programme will emphasise mastery of the ball through detailed work on first touch, dribbling, passing combinations, and finishing.
Tactical Development
These sessions are complemented by age‑appropriate tactical development, where players explore principles such as movement off the ball, creating overloads, effective pressing, and intelligent decision‑making.
Elite Training
Training activities are delivered through engaging, high‑intensity practices and small‑sided games, allowing players to apply their skills in realistic match situations.
Professional Insight
In addition to football-specific coaching, the camp includes elements inspired by the routines of professional players. Participants will experience structured gym sessions tailored to their age and stage of development, focusing on speed, agility, coordination, and functional strength. Recovery protocols are also embedded into the daily schedule, including guided stretching, mobility routines, and optional ice baths. These practices aim to educate players on the importance of rest, recovery, and wellbeing in achieving long‑term performance.
Throughout the camp, we maintain a strong emphasis on enjoyment, teamwork, and personal growth. Fun, competitive games and challenges are integrated into each day to keep players motivated and energised. Our goal is to ensure every participant leaves the camp not only as a better footballer, but also with a deeper understanding of the habits and behaviours that support success both on and off the pitch.

Matt DerbyshireCoach in Charge of Football - Development & Performance“After recently retiring from a 22 year professional football career I got a taste for coaching after being appointed interim coach of Bradford City. I have also coached at Blackburn Rovers Academy. I hope to bring all my playing, coaching and mentorship skills to the students as well as helping them to develop both as people and players. I’ve also scored at Wembley Stadium – scoring England’s third goal in a 3-3 draw against Italy’s Under 21 team in the stadium’s opening match on 24 March 2007.” |
